Great SE Denver Neighborhoods

Southeast Denver has some Great Neighborhoods. Some, like Washington Park, Bonnie Brae, and Observatory Park are admired for their tree-lined streets, charming homes, walkability, and proximity to Downtown Denver.

The Cherry Creek neighborhood is admired for some of the same reasons and additionally for it’s wonderful boutiques, salons, restaurants and, of course, Cherry Creek Shopping Center.

Immediately East of the Cherry Creek Neighborhood are two more prestigious Denver Neighborhoods – Hilltop and Crestmoor. These two neighborhoods are prized for their large lots and spectacular estate-sized homes, both old and new.

Other sought after Southeast Denver Neighborhoods include the Wellshire, Southern Hills and Cherry Hills Heights areas which surround one of Denver Public School’s best Elementary / Middle Schools, Leon Slavens School.

Another popular Neighborhood in Southeast Denver, is the neighborhood I call home…Eisenhower Park / University Hills. I believe, as do many others, that this neighborhood is ideal because of the wonderful 22-acre Mamie Doud Eisenhower Park, nearby Wellshire Golf Course, the 80-mile Highline Canal hiking and biking trail, close proximity to I-25 and RTD Light Rail, as well as being positioned almost equally between the two major employment and business hubs of Denver, the Denver Tec Center (DTC) and Downtown.
